2021 National Scout Jamboree

July 18-31, 2021

What is a Jamboree?

Held every four years at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, National Scout Jamborees bring together tens of thousands of Scouts from around the US, and beyond, for 10 days of outdoor adventure.

Council Contingent

Heart of New England Council is accepting registrations for our contingent to the 2021 National Scout Jamboree. We have space for up to 36 Scouts in our troop. 

To attend the Jamboree Scouts and Venturers must meet the participant requirements. To register, use the national event registration system by clicking on the button below.

Our contingent is lead by a Scoutmaster and 3 Assistant Scoutmasters who must meet the adult leader qualifications. Adults interested in serving in these positions should complete our council’s Jamboree Leader Application in addition to the standard Jamboree registration.


The Jamboree base fee is $1,175. The total cost for the Heart of New England contingent will be will $2,350 which includes transportation costs as touring activities, accommodations, and food costs.

Payments may be made in installments. All payments should be made through the Heart of New England Service Center. If mailing payments please include your Scouts name and home unit.

  • $500 Due by March 1, 2020*
  • $500 Due by June 1, 2020
  • $500 Due by September 1, 2020
  • $500 Due by December 1, 2020
  • $350 Due by March 1, 2021

*Initial payment is due immediately after registration. Your registration will not be complete until payment is received.

Tentative Itinerary

In addition to the Jamboree itself, our travel to and from The Summit in West Virginia will include several additional activities including a tour of historic Philadelphia, a trip to Thomas Jefferson’s estate at Monticello in Virginia, white water rafting on the New River in West Virginia, and a trip to Hershey Park in Pennsylvania.

Jamboree Service Team

The Jamboree Service Team is the staff for the National Scout Jamboree. Older Scouts (16+) and adults may apply to be part of the Jamboree Service Team. To apply for the Jamboree Service Team you must have a my.scouting.org login.
